Kathmandu, March 27: Balen Shah has dropped Amaresh Kumar Singh from his Cabinet. Singh was initially expected to take charge of the Industry Ministry. That plan did not survive the usual last-minute political reshuffle.
Instead, Balen has kept the Industry Ministry under his own control. He is also holding onto the Defence Ministry.
Singh won a seat in the House of Representatives from Sarlahi-4 on the RSP ticket and defeated Gagan Kumar Thapa, the president of the Nepali Congress.
