End the Wars

The world today is suffering from the severe consequences of wars occurring in different regions. The ongoing war against Iran, launched by the United States and Israel, has already imposed heavy costs on the global community. Fueled by geopolitical rivalry, the pursuit of supremacy, and competition for control over natural resources, the conflict continues to escalate, leading to growing instability and loss of lives.

Every day, innocent people are dying while the countries involved are spending billions of dollars on military operations. The war is already producing serious global repercussions. Oil prices have surged sharply, financial markets have become unstable, and major international trade routes have been disrupted. The restriction of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most critical oil transit routes in the world, has raised concerns about the stability of global energy supplies.

The conflict has also disrupted international air travel, as airlines have been forced to reroute flights between East Asia, Europe, and North America to avoid the war zone. Shipping insurance costs have risen significantly, while uncertainty in the energy market is pushing up prices of fuel, transportation, and essential commodities worldwide. The rise in petroleum prices will inevitably lead to higher costs for food and other basic goods, placing an additional burden on ordinary people.

Many believe that the war could have been avoided since diplomatic talks between the United States and Iran were underway before the outbreak of hostilities. However, the attacks launched by the United States and Israel prompted Iran to retaliate, raising the risk of a wider regional conflict. Missile strikes toward Gulf countries hosting American military bases have further increased tensions across West Asia.

Wars ultimately benefit no nation. They bring destruction, economic hardship, and global instability. If the conflict continues, even the United States and Israel could face serious economic consequences. Therefore, responsible leadership, diplomacy, and dialogue are urgently needed to stop the war and prevent further escalation that could threaten global peace.
