Bishnu B Manandhar, general secretary, NCP (United), echoed Dr Keshar Jung by labelling the Nepali Congress as ‘authoritative’ rather than ‘democratic’ at press meet on Friday.
His party still maintains links with Rayamajhi. He claimed –to sweep the local elections in Tarai but was sorry that the Left groups refused to cooperate with him.
However, observers see that his view that the Mashal, UPF, M-L-M etc, did not join hands with him rings hollow as he himself has distanced from these Left factions and holds rather similar views with NC.
