Kathmandu, March 6: The court has ordered the release of medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai from detention.
A bench led by Supreme Court Justice Mahesh Sharma Paudel issued the order for his release.
Prasai, who had been held in custody at the Kathmandu District Police Range, had filed a habeas corpus petition.
After hearing the petition on Friday, the court directed authorities to release him from custody.
