Kathmandu, September 18: Chinese Ambassador Chen Song called on Prime Minister Sushila Karki today.
In a meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday afternoon, Ambassador Song said that China will always support Nepal.
According to the Foreign Ministry sources, the Ambassador said that China respects the wishes of the people of Nepal as a good neighbor and is ready to provide necessary assistance to the government.
“We respect the wishes of the Nepalese people,” Ambassador Song said, adding, “We will continue to cooperate in the coming days.” “What the government needs, as good neighbors, we are ready to help,” the Ambassador said.
This is the first time the Chinese Ambassador has met the PM since the formation of the interim government led by Karki.
