Kathmandu, Sept 1: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the SCO platform. Modi shared a photo of the three leaders on social media.
On Monday, Modi participated in a photo session ahead of the SCO summit, after which he met with Putin and Xi. The three leaders were seen talking with each other, showcasing triangular diplomacy among their countries.
During the meeting, Modi even embraced Putin. Modi is scheduled to address the SCO meeting shortly and will also hold a bilateral discussion with Putin.
Yesterday, Modi held detailed talks with Xi on issues including trade and terrorism. All leaders attending the SCO summit posed for a group photo yesterday, which included Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif standing alongside Modi on the same stage.
