Newly appointed DPMs and ministers take oath

Kathmandu, July 15: President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed the ministers on the recommendation of the newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Newly appointed deputy prime ministers and ministers have also taken the oath of office.

Prakashman Singh of Nepali Congress became Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister and Bishnu Prasad Paudel of UML became Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister. President Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to them.

Prithvi Subba Gurung has been appointed the Minister for Communications and Information Technology; Ramesh Lekhak has become the Home Minister; Sharatsingh Bhandari has become the Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security; Arju Rana has become the Foreign Minister.

Similarly, Pradeep Yadav has become Minister for Water Supply; Balram Adhikari Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation; Damodar Bhandari Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies; Nawalkishore Sah Sudi Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens.

Similarly, Devendra Dahal has become the Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transportation; Tejulal Chaudhary Minister for Youth and Sports; Ajay Chaurasia Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs; Bidya Bhattarai Minister for Education, Science and Technology; Manvir Rai Minister for Defence; Deepak Khadka Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Rajkumar Gupta Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration; Ain Bahadur Shahi Minister for Forest and Environment; Pradeep Paudel Minister for Health and Population; Badri Pandey Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; and Ramnath Adhikari Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development.

President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed ministers.
