Shekhar-Gagan group to demand four ministers

Kathmandu, July 14: The Sekhar Koirala-Gagan Thapa group of the Nepali Congress is going to demand at least four ministers in the government led by KP Sharma Oli.

In a meeting held at Sekhar Koirala’s secretariat in Bishalnagar, it was decided that their group should get four ministers out of the total number of ministers their party would get. According to the agreement with UML, Congress will get 10 ministries.

In the meeting, along with Shekhar Koirala, Gagan Thapa, Dhanraj Gurung, Badri Pandey, Arjunnar Singh KC, Bal Bahadur KC, Jeevan Pariyar, Dilendra Badu, and Dr. Minendra Rizal were present.

According to leader Arjun Narasimha KC, the authority for selecting the minister has been given to Shekhar Koirala, Gagan Thapa and Dhanraj Gurung.
