Kathmandu, July 7: After increasing the water level at the Saptakoshi River, the local administration has opened all 56 gates of the Koshi Barrage.
Until this morning, 41 gates were kept open.
According to the local administration, the flow of water is above 368 thousand cusecs per hour.
The concerned authorities are continuously monitoring the water level and red lamps have been lit to keep alert the people. Also, red flags have been hoisted as a sign of alert.
