Petroleum price declines

Kathmandu, June 16: The Nepal Oil Corporation has slashed down the price of petroleum products effective from today.

The price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 3 per litre, whereas, the prices of diesel and kerosene have been slashed down by Rs 1 per litre.

The NOC decided to slash down the price following the new tariff sent by the Indian Oil Corporation.

According to the new tariff, the price per litre of petrol is set at Rs 165 per litre in the Kathmandu Valley.

Accordingly, the price for diesel and kerosene is set at Rs 152 per litre, in the Valley.
