Kathmandu, June 11: President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed non-resident ambassadors to two countries. On Monday, President Paudel appointed Nepali Ambassador to Switzerland Ram Prasad Subedi as the non-resident Nepali ambassador to San Marino in accordance with Article 282, Clause 1 of the Constitution of Nepal, President’s Office spokesperson Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai informed.
Similarly, President Paudel has appointed Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Lok Bahadur Thapa, as the non-resident ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua, according to the President’s Office.
