
Kathmandu, June 9: After Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal left for New Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deputy Prime Minister and Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Raghuveer Mahaseth has been assigned to look after the Prime Minister’s portfolio during the absence of the PM.
On the recommendation of the Prime Minister, President Ramchandra Paudel has assigned the responsibility to Mahaseth to carry out the daily administrative works of the Prime Minister in his absence. As Mahaseth is the deputy prime minister having the senior-most rank in the cabinet, he has been assigned to look after the PM’s portfolio.
