Kathmandu, May 30: Chinese Ambassador Chen Song said that China is ready to upgrade the Bahrbise-Tatopani road of the Kodroari Highway.
Ambassador Chen said that China is ready to upgrade the road in an all-party discussion held on Wednesday evening at the Tatopani Customs Office.
He said that both countries can build the road together in the context that Nepal has also allocated a budget for road improvement. Ambassador Chen informed that Chinese technicians will come to study the landslide site and other parts of the road.
He said that China will help in the construction by bringing the latest equipment. MP Madhav Sapkota, from Sindhupalchok constituency No. 1, informed that one billion 20 million rupees have been allocated for road upgrading and proposed that both countries should work together.
