Kathmandu, May 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that there is no need to comment unnecessarily on the arrest of Kailash Sirohia, chairman of the Kantipur Media Group.
After the inauguration of the International Expert Dialogue on Mountains, People and Climate Change, held on May 22 in Kathmandu, to media said that there is no need to make a fuss about the court proceedings about Sirohiya.
“After this court asked to proceed with the process, I understood the court process”, PM Dahal remarked, “This is too much – there is no need to make a fuss”.
When local media questioned that the government taking revenge on Sirihiya, took such a step, the PM replied, “That is wrong.” PM Dahal denied the allegation.
“If he is innocent in the court process, he will get away easily, this is the solution”, PM Dahal asked to wait for the court’s decision.
