JSPN quites the government

Kathmandu, May 13: Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav has resigned from the post. Yadav, who is also the president of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSPN) addressed the Prime Minister and sent his resignation letter on Monday.

“In the government formed under the leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister, I have been holding the responsibility as the Deputy Prime Minister for the past two months, and I would like to resign from that responsibility as it is not possible to continue cooperation in the current political situation,” he stated in his resignation letter.

Minister of State for Forests and Environment, Deepak Karki, who belongs to the JSPN has also resigned.
