Kathmandu, May 6: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has called a meeting of the senior leaders of major parties on Tuesday. The meeting of senior leaders including the Prime Minister and chiefs of the political parties has been called at 11:30 am in the Speaker’s office.
Speaker Ghimire called Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML chairman KP Sharma Oli, Rastriya Swatantra Party chairman Ravi Lamichhane and Rastriya Prajatantra Party chairman Rajendra Lingden to the meeting.
The Speaker’s Secretariat informed that the Speaker has called the top leaders to try to reach an agreement before the start of the next session.
Earlier, the winter session of Parliament ended after the Nepali Congress continuously disrupted the House meeting.
