Rastra Bank to print Nepal’s new map in 100 rupees notes

Kathmandu, May 4: The Nepal Rastra Bank is going to print 100 rupees-denominated bank notes by printing the new map of Nepal incorporating Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani, presently occupied by India.

Four years ago. the Nepal government made public the new political map of the country by incorporating the Nepali area presently occupied by India. 

The cabinet meeting on Thursday approved the proposal for changing the design of the 100 rupee-denominated notes. Earlier, the old map of Nepal was published in the Nepali notes.
