Kathmandu. A meeting was held between the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari and Lang Fukuan, Vice Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
In a meeting at the Ministry of Industry in Singhadurwar, Industry Minister Bhandari stated that the relationship between Nepal and China’s TOR is linked by mountains and rivers, and that the relationship and cooperation between the two countries have existed at various levels and fields since before the establishment of diplomatic relations.
In addition, he said that Nepal is committed to the one-China policy and its dedication to promoting China’s peace, stability and development. In the meeting, Minister Bhandari said that Nepal is cooperating with BRI and expressed the view that Nepal is trying to gain benefits in various fields of physical infrastructure development and mutual commitment.
He also asked the Chinese government to facilitate the Nepali exporters regarding China’s customs and quarantine procedures for easy access of Nepali products to China, organizing the trading points of both countries.“I believe that if the facilities of the laboratory for checking at the main customs points of Xinjiang, China, which is connected to the border with Nepal, can be provided from China, the expansion of access to the Chinese market of Nepali goods will be made easier and simpler,” Minister Bhandari said in the meeting.
