Kathmandu, April 28: By-elections in Ilam-2 and Bajhang-1 were conducted peacefully on April 27. After collection of all the ballot boxes, the Election Commission is preparing for vote counting in Ilam, whereas, in Bajhang, the Election Commission is bringing ballot boxes from three polling centres by helicopter. After the collection of all the ballot boxes, the vote-counting process is going to start in Bajhang-1 also.
The by-election in Ilam-2 took place in the vacant seat of the House of Representatives, whereas, in Bajhang-1, the by-election took place in the vacant seat of the Province Council member.
