In the previous election, Subhas Nembang was elected from this electoral constituency. The by-election is taking place after his death.
Accordingly, a by-election is taking place in Bajhang for one vacant seat in the Soodur Paschim Province Council.
There are a total of 61 thousand, 748 voters in the constituency.
After the death of Prithivi Bahadur Singh in a road accident, the by-election is taking place in the vacant seat.
