PM Dahal meets visiting Chinese leader

Kathmandu, April 26: Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal met with the Chairman of the Chinese International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), Lu Zhaohui.

In the meeting held today at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, the economic development of Nepal and the upcoming investment conference were discussed, according to Rupak Sapkota, PM’s advisor. 

More border points between Nepal and China have come into operation, this has brought relief to the people of the border areas,” the Prime Minister said.

The PM said to the Chinese leader, “I have found that Chinese investors are also interested in Nepal and are eager to participate in the investment conference to be held in Kathmandu.”

Chairman Zhou Hui said that Chinese investors want to invest in Nepal’s electricity, transmission line construction, and Tokha-Chhare tunnel feasibility study.
