PM Dahal meets ADB’s vice president 

Kathmandu, April 26: Vice President of Asian Development Bank (ADB), Ingming Yang, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. In the meeting held on Friday at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, they discussed the economic development of Nepal as well as the upcoming investment conference.

On that occasion, PM Dahal said that Nepal is a suitable destination for investment and added that ADB has significant investment in building physical infrastructure. He informed that Nepal will propose effective and investable projects at the investment conference to be held in Nepal.

“The government has created a suitable environment for investment by making legal and policy reforms,” PM Dahal said. 

“This is an opportunity for investment in Nepal,” Dahal remarked.

ADB Vice President Yang mentioned that ADB is ready to invest in Nepal’s strategic projects and said that the bank will decide on a strategy to invest more in Nepal in the future.
