Coalition government in trouble

Kathmandu, April 25: Ekakrit Samajwadi Party chairman Madhav Nepal is unhappy with the present alliance and secretly consulting with NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba on the possibility of formation of another alliance in association with the Nepali Congress (NC).

Even though it is difficult to manage the necessary number for the NC along with the support from the ESP led by Madhab Nepal, if the Janata Samajwadi Party led by Upendra Yadav also quits the alliance government and RPP supports the next coalition government, there is the possibility of formation of another coalition.

Meanwhile, some leaders from the Nepali Congress and UML are holding frequent meetings for the formation of the NC-UML coalition government in the name of giving a strong government by ensuring political stability.

They have analysed that the small parties are making big claims, and due to the bargaining of the small parties, the government is always facing a crisis.

However, UML chairman K.P. Sharma Oli is of the view that the time has not come to form an NC-UML coalition government.

Madhav Nepal, expressing his displeasure, didn’t attend the diamond anniversary of the establishment of the Nepal Communist Party organized by UML on April 22 in Godawari, Lalitpur.

Recently, Madhav Nepal said that politics is passing through a critical phase, and how long the present coalition government will last, cannot be said.

Chairman Nepal said that his party doesn’t want to listen to warnings, threats, and humiliations from other parties.

Nepal is unhappy with the UML and feels humiliated while staying together with the UML in the present coalition government.
