Kathmandu, April 21: Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Hit Bahadur Tamang has said that he is discussing with the authorities how to free Nepal’s airspace from the EU blacklist.
When I came to the ministry, I spoke in order to give a message that an action plan should be made to allow Nepalese aircraft to enter the EU directly. I stand by that. We have consulted with the private sector. We also talk to experts and officials of related organizations,” he said.
He opined that if the Nepalese airspace cannot be opened from the EU blacklist, it will have a negative impact strategically, economically, and in other ways.
