
Kathmandu, March 30: Speaking at a press conference in Hetaunda on Friday, the chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-Nepal), Kamal Thapa, alleged some media and some political parties of Nepal of encouraging religious conversion by taking funds from the Western countries.
Saying that America has invested millions of dollars in Nepal to spread atheism. He claimed that some media and political parties are working with Western countries’ funds for the conversion of religion.
He has also asked the government to investigate the facts about religious conversion and foreign investment and take effective measures to preserve our culture.
Saying that the current system has failed, Thapa opined that it is time for all nationalist forces to unite for a democratic system, providing a space for the King.
Thapa urged for holding interaction among the patriotic forces for a democratic system having a king. He said that the people have become fed up with this system in recent times and now people’s movement is necessary for a democracy, along with the king to save the nation.
