
Kathmandu, March 18: Toyota vehicles’ authorized distributor, United Traders Syndicate (UTS), has announced the winners of the 17th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. The winning contestants were honored with a certificate and prize amidst a function organized at the VOITH Complex.
The art contest was organized from December 2023 to February 2024. Around eight hundred contestants participated in the event, and three contestants from each entry category were declared winners. Those winners can participate in the competition that is going to be held in Japan.
Under category 1, seven years or younger, Ijyan Khan Malik, Erika Adhikari, and Sahittya Auer were declared first, second, and third respectively.
Under category 2, eight to eleven years, Jinisha Jen, Rayya Singh Maharjan, and Aryab Joshi were declared first, second and third respectively.
Under category 3, from 12 to 15 years, Ojala Maharjan, Jenisha Thapa, Juniya Rai were declared first, second, and third, respectively.
Those winners were rewarded with a certificate and books, pen, pneuma, human fit craft, SRB Handicraft, thread art, and a flower hub.
Children from all over the world get the opportunity to learn about future mobility from the dream car drawing, which helps boost children’s talent. Toyota has been organizing such a competition under the social responsibility program since 2004.
Last year, 780 thousand children from 90 countries participated in the event.
