Kathmandu, March 10: The Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, which has been in service for the past 29 years with the motto “Impregnable Bank, Successful Cooperation”, providing quality services to its clients has handed over a scholarship established in the name of the late Nawaraj Bahadur Singh to a girl student Ms Hirakumari Joshi.
The scholarship, a purse with 50 thousand rupees has been awarded to the top girl student in the Trinagar High School for her study in the tenth grade.
The scholarship has been established in the name of the founding chairman of the Malika Bikas Bank, the late Nawraj Bahadur Singh, one among the seven financial companies that merged into the Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank.
Provincial chief of the Soorod Pashim Province, Sunil Kumar Nepal handed over the scholarship to the student during a function.
