An Indian arrested with fake notes

Kathmandu, February 12: Police have recovered a large amount of fake notes from Sunsari. Police have detained an Indian citizen with 1 crore, 82 lakh, and 51 thousand rupees from the Scorpio that came to Nepal from India. The Superintendent of Police of Sunsari, Bipin Regmi, said that the police recovered fake notes from the bridge of the Sunsari River in Inaruwa Municipality-4. He said that while checking the Scorpio vehicle with number BR 11 X 3429, fake notes were recovered hidden in the back of the Scorpio.Regmi said that the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Mohammad Syed of Supaul, India, was arrested. An investigation is underway to find out where the Scorpio came from in India. During the check, a fake note was found. The police said that fake notes were recovered hidden in a bag.
