Kathmandu, February 10: The World Bank Group’s organization “Identification for Development (ID)” conference is going to be held in Nepal. In the third meeting of the directorate committee of the investment conference, Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat informed it.
The conference will be held in June 2024. He also said that the official letter would come in a few days. He said that this would be the biggest international conference organized in Nepal.
Representatives from more than 92 countries, including the president of the World Bank, will participate in the conference.
Earlier, to the ID conference, an investment summit is being held in Nepal on April 28 and 29.
Minister Mahat said that if the investment conference can be made successful, there is a possibility of increasing not only multinational companies but also private investment in Nepal.
He also said that international investors are getting interested in investing in Nepal.
