Kathmandu, February 5: A civic main committee has been formed to observe the 74th birthday of former Queen Komal.
The committee, comprised of 3574 members, is chaired by Mira Rana. The Committee has scheduled to observe the Queen’s birthday with fanfare nationwide on February 18, 19, and 20. February 28 (Falgun 7) is the birthday of former Queen Komal.
Co-chairmen of the committee are Gita Chhetri Rana, Raji Rajya Laxmi Rana, Jagadish Khadka, Indira Malla, Manjuratna Shakya, Jyotsana Rajya Laxmi Thapa, and Indra Bahadur Thakuri.
Radheshyam Thapa is the general secretary of the Committee.
