Kathmandu, January 29: The government is spending millions of rupees every year for the allowances and other facilities of the two ex-presidents, Rambaran Yadav and Bidya Devi Bhandari.
The government is paying house rent for Yadav, besides other facilities. Accordingly, the government doesn’t pay house rent for Bhandari but is paying house rent for the security guard-used building.
The government is paying salaries for the secretariat staffers and other expenses of the two former presidents.
Meanwhile, ex-VPs are also demanding to increase facilities provided by the government, reports Naya Patrika daily.
