
Kathmandu, January 28: Deputy Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, Sun Haiyan, who is in town leading a high-level Chinese delegation, advised the Nepali leaders to move forward with the Belt and Road Initiatives for a long-term benefit of the country.
She suggested developing an environment for cooperation and dialogue among the political parties.
“For the long-term benefit of the nation, Nepal should move forward with the BRI”, she has suggested.
In an interaction program organized in Kathmandu this morning, Deputy Minister Sun said that Nepal should remain alert to the forces active in escalating regional conflict and insist on groupism.
The interaction program was attended by Nepali political leaders, National Assembly deputy chairman Urmila Aryal, UML general secretary Shankar Pokhrel, Nepali Congress former general secretary Shaanka Koirala, Maoist Center’s Ram Karki, Rastriya Swatantra Party’s MP Shishir Khanal, among others.
