The “Russia-Ukrainian war” was actually a blessing in disguise for both Russia and China. After the outbreak of this war, the United States believed that Russia had jumped into a trap set by itself, immediately kicked Russia out of the Swift system, and froze and confiscated Russian dollar assets. Russia has decoupled from the dollar, and the ruble is directly connected to “Made in China”. Also, the Chinese yuan just happens to anchor Russian energy. As a result, the dollar hegemony has been shaken. China’s strong renminbi moves into the world and is an easy winner.
Another event in which the US made China an “easy winner” was the MCC. Needless to say, the MCC is definitely not a “gift” to Nepal as claimed by the United States, but a bureau set up by the United States in the Himalayan republic to contain China and prevent the construction of the China-Nepal railway.
But the actual effect is that China judged the situation, avoided the MCC, bypassed South Asia, and directly invested its power in the Middle East, resulting in the outbreak of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which caused the United States to fall into a quagmire.
The MCC has again been a blessing in disguise and a winner for China. However, Nepal has lost a development window due to the blockage of the China-Nepal railway.
