Kathmandu, January 12: Foreign Minister NP Saud has said that the Border Working Group is working on the border dispute between Nepal and India. In a press conference organized by Nepal Press Union Dadeldhura at the district headquarters today, he informed that many agreements have been reached on the border dispute except Kalapani, Limpiyadhura, Lipulek, and Susta.
Apart from Kalapani, Limpiyadhura, Lipulek, and Susta, many agreements have been reached. During the previous border mapping and delineation, some places have come on the side of India and some parts on the Nepal side”. Minister Saud said, “Joint Boundary Working Group of both countries is working on this. This work is progressing with consent
Minister Saud said that the government of Nepal is fully aware of its borders and the land owned by the country. He said that efforts are being made to resolve the border problem through dialogue, discussion and diplomatic initiatives. Minister Saud asserted that the recent visit to Nepal by India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar was meaningful, important and fruitful.
