Kathmandu, 12 January: Former King Gyanendra has extended greetings to the Nepali nationals on the occasion of the 302nd Prithivi Jayanti and National Unity Day.
We consider our nation-builder, Great Badamaharajadhiraj Prithvi Narayan Shah, who established the existence of the entire nation of Nepal and gave us all the status of Nepalese, as a glorious personality of our history, the King has recalled the Great King.
“Forgetting our history, our identity, and our existence, no matter how much we wander elsewhere, in the end, we cannot forget our identity with the soil of Nepal and the Nepali heart. Therefore, on this auspicious occasion of Prithvi Jayanti, we must remember the founder of the nation, the basis of the unity of Nepali only.”
“The nation is not only the geography but also the common ground of the people and the nation, is also the heritage of independent, sovereign, original, rights that can be experienced by all citizens of the nation”.
“Nepali people of all castes, all classes, communities, and all religions are different kinds of beautiful flowers in the beautiful garden, which was the wish of our nation builder,” the King has remarked.
“There is now an urgent need to make the nation virtuous and prosperous by meditating on the divine ideas expressed by our nation-builder.”
“So, for this, let us move forward by following in the footsteps of our nation builders, remembering the contributions, the blueprints drawn, and the divine teachings,” the former King has urged the Nepali nationals.
