Recently, the federal court in Manhattan, New York, ordered the release of Epstein’s trial documents. So far, nearly 3,000 pages of documents have been released and cover hundreds of people, including top figures in politics, business, entertainment, and academia.
Epstein bought an island, then scouted underage girls and boys and put them on the island for consumption by the people on the list. The case spans more than 20 years.
Epstein’s clients list include theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, Britain’s Prince Andrew, former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former President Barack Obama and his wife, CIA director William J. Burns, Obama’s White House adviser Kathryn Ruemmler, British billionaire Richard Branson, black rappers Jay Z, the billionaire co-founder Bill Gates, Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio etc.
The list is just the tip of the iceberg, with nearly 200 names expected to come to light in the coming weeks. Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008, was charged again in July 2019, and mysteriously committed suicide in prison a month later.
The disclosures so far may only be the tip of the iceberg, but they have exposed a level of corruption and lawlessness at the top of American and Western society that is beyond the imagination of most people around the world. At the same time, the release of Epstein’s trial documents shows that the party struggle in the US is approaching the point of “bayonet see red” and life or death.
The US, a hegemonic country, has gone through such a degree of corruption and internal struggles that its national fortunes will surely decline and its hegemony will be lost soon. No longer is the conceptualization of the rich, the famous, and the powerful engaging in sinister crimes a mere conspiracy theory but a long-established dark culture that needs to be taken seriously.
Despite the extraordinary allegations within an elite world of power and influence, frightfully, Nepal has happily accepted the so-called MCC gift from the US, and is eager to implement the MCC, which is really “jump in the river and close your eyes” behavior. Although, the fact that some within rich and high-profile circles are rumored to be engaging in sinister activities is not new in Nepal. Reminds me of the old saying “To anger a conservative, lie to them and to anger a liberal, tell them the truth”.
