Kathmandu, 6 January: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is organizing a mega rally and offering tribute at the statue of King Prithivi Narayan Shah the Great in front of Singhadurwar on Friday, 12 January, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the unifier of modern Nepal.
At 10 am, the rally will start from Bhrikuti Mandap. Also, at 1 pm, the party is hosting a tea reception at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.
The party is observing the birth anniversary of King Prithivi as the National Unity Day.
Also, different organisations are observing the birth anniversary of King Prithivi organizing different programmes.
