Four days after two youth willing to go to Korea as migrant workers were killed in police action in Kathmandu, news about the death of a 23-year-old youth from Syangja, who joined the Russian army, was published.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Hari Prasad Aryal of Mankhu in Waling Municipality-14, died in the Russia-Ukraine war.
Earlier, he had joined the Nepali Army but left his job after three years in service and reached Russia via Dubai. Hari’s family said that he went to Russia from Dubai, after a brief halt there, on October 3 last year.
He was killed on December 3, but his family was informed only on December 28.
Aryal is the 10th Nepali national killed in the war.
