Demonstrators arrested in front of the Prime Minister’s office

Kathmandu, 1 January: The police have arrested three people who demonstrated a a half-naked body in front of the Prime Minister’s office inside the Singh Darbar. On Monday afternoon, three people entered the Singh Darbar and staged a half-naked body demonstration in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.

They entered there with a pass from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

It has been revealed that those arrested are revolutionary Maoist cadres close to Mohan Vaidya. Those arrested are Dipendra Singh, Akash Karki and Padam Hamal. They are kept in the Police Circle, Singhdarbar.

During the demonstration, they displayed leaflets on their bodies saying “No MCC”, “Stop Murder”, “No Ncell” and “Save the Nation”.
