Kathmandu, 30 December: King Gyanendra, who is currently in Bhairahawa, is going to unveil Great King Prithivi Narayan Shah’s newly constructed statue at 11 a.m. at the Khairendrapur Square in Shivaraj Municipality, Kapilvastu District.
The statue of King Prithivi, the founder of modern Nepal, is unavailingly coinciding with King Birendra’s birth anniversary.
Deposed King Gyanendra is on a private visit to the Western Tarai districts along with Queen Komal and other members of the Royal Family. He is also scheduled to visit Tarai districts in central Nepal, according to reports.
