Kathmandu, 29 December: The two protesters, who were killed in the police firing at Balkumari, Lalitpur, have been identified.
Sujan Rawat of Dailekh and Birendra Shah of Baitidi died, informed Nepal Police spokesman Kuber Kadayat.
Shah died at Patan Hospital, whereas, Rawat died at Kist Hospital, according to the Police.
When agitated youths disturbed road traffic and set ablaze at the Minister’s vehicle, the police opened fire injuring several protesters.
Youth were agitated after they were unable to attend the EPS examination even after learning the Korean language for employment in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the government has constituted a probe committee to investigate today’s incident at Balkumari, Lalitpur.
