Kathmandu, 25 December: The Sanatan Religious Group has demonstrated in Kathmandu, protesting against the statement of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kirati.
The Group staged a demonstration in Baneshwar, Kathmandu, claiming that Minister Kirati’s statement last Wednesday was unconstitutional.
On the eve of Christmas Day, on Wednesday, Minister Kirati remarked that discarding Christianity means rejecting the constitution, and those who disobey the present constitution are traitors and they should be jailed.
Those demonstrators demanded the resignation of Minister Kirati, otherwise, PM Dahal should dismiss him.
