Kathmandu, 21 December: The fourth edition of the multinational military exercise “Abhyas Shanti” is being organized by the Nepal Army in collaboration with the Global Peace Operation Initiative (GPOI), USA, from 20 February to 4 March 2024 at the Birendra Peacekeeping Training Center in Panchkhal, Nepal.
Such multinational military exercises were held in 2000, 2013, and 2017.
Military personnel from 22 nations are taking part in the fourth edition of the military exercise. Three types of activities, such as, Staff Training Event, Field Training Event, Critical Enabler and Capability Enhancement, will be included in the military exercise. Meanwhile, a regional seminar on peacekeeping will also be held.
