Kathmandu, 19 December: The Tribhuvan University organized its 49th convocation ceremony on Monday at Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu.
Out of a total of 73,749 graduates from the TU, 12,415 graduates from various disciplines took part in the ceremony, according to the University’s Exam Controller Pushparaj Joshi.
The University claimed it set a world record for the highest number of graduates.
The ceremony was administered by Prime Minister and Chancellor Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the presence of President Ramchandra Paudel at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar.
Among those who applied, 8 thousand 98 students were initiated for the bachelor’s level, 4 thousand 104 for master’s level, 44 for the MPhil and 112 for the bachelor’s degree.
