Kathmandu, 19 December: Former King Gyanendra is scheduled to unveil the statue of Great King Prithvi Narayan Shah in Shivaraj Municipality in Kapilvastu District on 30 December.
The statue was constructed at the initiative of Ajaya Thapa, mayor of the Municipality. According to the Municipality, the statue is going to be inaugurated by King Gyanendra.
King Gyanendra is visiting Western and Middle Nepal beginning from next week, according to Dr Phani Pathak, Press Secretary of the King.
