A 20-member team of MPs leaves for China

Kathmandu, 19 December: A 20-member team of parliamentarians led by CPN Maoist Center Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey left for Beijing via Chengdu by Air China on Monday. The visiting team consists of 5 each from the Nepali Congress and CPN UML, three from the CPN Maoist Center, and one each from the National Independent Party, National Democratic Party, Janata Samajwadi Party and CPN Unified Socialist Party.

The team of parliamentarians visiting China to participate in the event of the International Business Academy under the Ministry of Commerce of China. While in China, the team is scheduled to visit Beijing, Nanjing and Giang cities.

Yuvraj Sharma, Ramnath Adhikari, Ain Bahadur Shahi, Saraswati Bajimay and Kusumdevi Thapa from Nepali Congress, Damodar Bairagi, Manbir Rai, Nirmala Koirala, Rukmini Rana Baraili and Bhagwati Neupane from CPN UML, Jag Prasad Sharma and Narayani Sharma from CPN Maoist Center along with Chief Whip Pandey are included in the visit.

Secretary of Federal Parliament Secretariat Sudarshan Khadka, Speaker’s Press Adviser Shekhar Adhikari and section officer Jeevan Niraula are also accompanied in the visiting team.
