Kathmandu, 17 December: Today, the nation is observing National Flag Day. Every year, on 1 Pous, the National Flag Day is celebrated since 2075 BS (2017). This is the 6th National Flag Day.
On 1 Pous, 2019, Nepal’s national flag was listed with the United Nations Organization. Recalling the historical day, the National Identity Preservation Academy has announced to observe 1 Pous as the National Flag Day.
Since then, the nation has been observing National Flag Day on 1 Poous and National Dress Day on 1 January every year.
