Kathmandu, 17 December: Today, a marriage event is being observed in Janakpur recalling the marriage anniversary of God Ram and Goddess Sita. Lord Ram and Goddess Sita got married on Panchami Day according to the lunar calendar.
A special marriage ceremony is being observed at Rangabhumi in Janakpur.
Hindu devotees from Nepal and India have gathered in Janakpur to take part in the special event.
Today is the main day of the event; however, the festival is being observed for seven days.
