RSP questions the PM: Why ground handling service withdrawing from Nepal Airlines?

Kathmandu, 14 December: The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has questioned the prime minister about the reason for withdrawing the ground handling service provided by Nepal Airlines at the Tribhuvan International Airport.As the airport is an area related to the national security and what could be the impact of handing over the ground handling to a private (indigenous or foreign) company under the pretext of open competition, the RSP has questioned the prime minister.A team led by acting chairman of RSP, Dol Prasad Aryal, met Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal this morning and submitted a two-point attention letter.After the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal decided to award the ground handling service of the Tribhuvan International Airport to a private company through open competition, it has been criticized strongly by different sectors.
