Kathmandu, 14 December: Machhapuchhre Bank Ltd has reduced its interest rates. The bank has reduced the interest rates on deposits with effect from 13 December.
Minimum 4.60 percent to maximum 7.60 percent interest has been maintained in an ordinary savings account. Earlier, the interest rate was fixed from a minimum of 5.603 percent to a maximum of 8.603 percent.
The bank has fixed interest rates up to 7.60 percent for institutional and 9.60 percent for individuals on fixed deposits. The bank has a fixed 10.60 percent interest rate on remittance fixed deposit accounts.
